Defining Threshold Analyzer Role

You can define Threshold Analyzer Role from the Sequence Scenario Editor.

To define Threshold Analyzer Role using Sequence Scenario Editor, follow these steps:, follow these steps:
  1. From the Windows menu of the DataSet Editor, select Sequence Patterns.
    The Sequence Scenario Editor window displays.
  2. From the Scenario menu of the Sequence Scenario Editor, select Open Existing Scenario.
  3. From the Scenario menu, select Edit Roles.
    The Pattern Roles dialog box displays.
  4. In the Pattern Role dialog box, follow these steps:
    1. Select the desired variable from the Variable drop-down list.
    2. Type the text you want associated with this role in the Description field.
    3. Click the arrow of the Format drop-down list to identify the highlights from other pattern roles, and to define the display of the pattern roles on the Web Application pages.
      Optional: Select the TA Role Use check box if you want to assign pattern role variable to threshold analyzer role.
    4. Click Modify.
  5. Click Ok to close the Pattern Roles dialog box.
  6. From the Scenario menu of the Sequence Scenario Editor, select Edit Threshold Analyzer Roles.
    The Threshold Analyzer Roles dialog box displays.
  7. In the Threshold Analyzer Roles dialog box, follow these steps:
    1. Select the desired variable from the Variable drop-down list.
    2. Modify the text you want associated with this role in the Description.
    3. Select the format from the Format drop-down list.
    4. Select the field position from the Variable Field Name drop-down list. By default, the value specified is blank.
    5. Select the value from the Use as Axis drop-down list.
    6. Type the unit in the Display Units.
    7. Select the numeric value from the Round Digits Count drop-down list.
    8. Click Add.
  8. Click Ok to close the Threshold Analyzer Roles dialog box.
