Link Analysis Procedures within the Scenario Manager

The continuing sections of this chapter describes how to perform steps defined in each phase outlined in previous sections. These instructions are not in the order and are not defined in each phase, however, they are grouped together by the tools used to perform them:

• DataSet Editor (refer to Using the DataSet Editor with Link Analysis, for more information).
• Network Definition Editor (refer to About the Network Definition Editor, for more information).
• Link Analysis Job Editor (refer to About the Link Analysis Job Editor, for more information).

Note:

You can complete steps 1, 5, and 6 in the DataSet Editor prior to performing Steps 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8 in the Network Definition Editor. Completing the steps in a grouped fashion (by tool), enables you to complete all the steps involved in creating a Network Definition with characteristics. This avoids having to open and close each tool, as the data is not synchronized or refreshed between the DataSet and Network Definition Editors.
