Using the Threshold Sets Tab

The Threshold Sets tab provides the contents of the Base Threshold Set and any existing sets (which you access in the Threshold Sets drop-down menu), which is shown in the following figure. You can use this base set to create an additional (derived) threshold set and use it at runtime in the detection process; the new set also contains the thresholds that the base set defines. For each threshold set that you create, you need to define a new job in the appropriate job editor.

Note:

You can create a threshold set for specific requirements for each jurisdiction in which a scenario is applied. Threshold sets maybe created for several reasons, and jurisdiction is one of those reasons.

The Threshold Sets tab contains the following components:

  • Threshold Set Description: Allows you to select and modify threshold values within a Threshold Set to be used at runtime.
  • Display Threshold History: Displays the Threshold History dialog box which provides the history of the selected threshold.

When you select a Threshold in the Threshold Set Description area for modification, the Display Threshold History button is enabled. Selection of this button displays the Threshold History dialog, which provides history details of the selected threshold. The Threshold History dialog box displays.
