9.5 Methodology

OFS Compliance Agent can recommend thresholds for AML scenarios based on summary transaction statistics of a sample of focal entities (accounts/customers/external entities).

This involves the following two steps:

1. Using summary statistics from a sample of customers to simulate transaction aggregates that are representative of the aggregate transactional behavior of the entire population of customers.
2. Using these simulated transaction aggregates to recommend thresholds for specific scenarios and parameters.
