2.2 How to Apply This Maintenance Level Release in the Compliance Studio?

This section describes how to apply this ML release in the Compliance Studio.

Steps to apply Oracle Financial Services Compliance Studio 8.1.3.2.0 patch.

This Patch should be applied on Compliance Studio.

  1. Steps to follow on Compliance Studio

    ** Refer to the Oracle Financial Services Compliance Studio Administration and Configuration Guide for detailed prerequisites and steps.

    1. Extract the contents of the patch archives using the following command:

      unzip -a <name of the files to be unzipped>

      For example

      unzip -a 39527220_GENERIC-1of2.zip
unzip -a 39527220_GENERIC-2of2.zip

      Note:

      * This patch contains 2 zip files and both must be unzipped for patch application.

      * The above "-a" option is mandatory to unzip the patch. In case you notice an error message "unzip: not found [No such file or directory]" when the package is not installed, contact your UNIX administrator to resolve this issue.

  2. Edit the ##PATCH_HOME##/bin/config.sh file to update following configurations:

    Note:

    Refer to the install guide for more information for above parameters default values.
  3. Execute applyPatch.sh in the ##PATCH_HOME##/bin folder. 
    cd ##PATCH_HOME##/bin
 ./applyPatch.sh -cs

    The patch installs the complete Conda distribution from the archive under ##PATCH_HOME##/minicondaFiles.

    Note:

    1. This patch will stop Compliance Studio. It will create a backup of the affected jars, files or directories and then update respective jars, files and directories.
    2. After the replacement, it will re-install Compliance Studio to update the configuration.
    3. After re-install, the patch will start Compliance Studio.
    4. Any manual configurations to the files which are available in section A has to be reconfigured after applying the patch.
