Filter

In the Filter tab, you can add multiple non-time hierarchy members as filters.

1. In the Model Definition window, click the Add icon from the Filters toolbar. The Filter Browser window is displayed.
2. Select the Data Filter or Hierarchy to display the corresponding filters.
3. Select the required filter or hierarchy from the list and click the Forward Arrow icon. The selected filter is added to the Selected Members pane.

   Note:

   If a Hierarchy is created on a table with the same column holding hierarchy Code and Description, then the hierarchy nodes will not be displayed in the Hierarchy Browser window on Hive connections. In such scenario, use the concat functionality in the Description field like concat(<TableName.ColumnName>). For example, concat(credit.age,").
4. Click OK. The selected Filters are displayed in the grid.
5. Filters can be applied to both Production and Sandbox Information Domains. Select the required option Apply in Production or Apply in Sandbox to apply the filter in the required information domain.

   Note:

   Data Element Filters created in the Filters screen are displayed when you select Data Filter.
