3.3 Tracking and Work flow

The Inbox page displays all tasks, such as Issues and Actions, assigned to a user.

  • Log Issues: You can either log issues manually, or they can be logged by a Governance Process, or tasks can be reassigned from another user.
  • Create Actions: Actions are remedial tasks created to resolve an issue. An action may involve various processes such as:
    • Adjustment Process to close the action or issue.
    • Creating catalog extensions.
    • Entering data directly into stage tables via DMI.
    • Creating Data Quality names, among others.
  • Notification Tab: The Notification tab shows the latest tasks for the user, keeping you updated on new or pending tasks.
