3.4 DFCS Personas

The Data Foundation Cloud Service (DFCS) supports 3 types of user personas.

1. Business Analyst – Focused on data exploration and analysis.
2. Data Governance Analyst – Provides tools for data quality, compliance, and governance.
3. Administration – Manages system configurations, user access, and administrative tasks.

DFCS provides a tailored user interface for these personas. The landing page and available menu options are dynamically adjusted according to the user's assigned group.

Each user group sees a customized dashboard and navigation menu, ensuring a role-specific experience within the application.

The application also provides a Left-Hand Side (LHS) menu for all users irrespective of personas. The menu options include Home, Data Catalog, Data Integration, Data Controls, and Data Visualization.
