7.2.2 Creating New Form

Form creation involves selecting entities, displaying columns with attributes on the form, and if required, selecting authorization of data. Security settings provide for the creation of specific-user access for the forms and authorization.

  1. In the Data Management Interface Designer Summary page, click Add, to create a form.
    Opens the Designer - Configure screen.
  2. Two options:
    • Data Entry – creates the form based on the entities, and attributes provided by the user. Select Data Entry to manually enter data in the UI or update existing records which are already present in the entity.
    • Excel Upload – creates form based on uploaded Excel sheet. Auto map Attributes is enabled when Excel Upload is selected. This feature will map the existing attributes from the excel to the existing entities. By default it is selected. Verify the auto mapped attributes.

      Note:

      Users can upload less than 1000 records.
    • Code: Auto-generated.
    • Name: Enter the form name.
    • Description: Provide a short explanation of the form's purpose.
