4.3 Activating and Launching the Services

  1. On the homepage, under the Data Catalog section and select Recipes.
  2. The Recipes window appears, displaying the available recipe types. The Data Marketplace is where you discover, activate, and manage add-on services that work with DFCS, such as calculators and business application interfaces.
  3. Use the search bar at the top to find services by name, or description.

    Status

    Available or Activated Services are grouped by category.

    • Purchased - total services you are entitled to
    • Activated - services currently active
    • Available - services you can still activate

    Example: (Purchased - 2, Activated - 1, Available - 1)

  4. Select the required OCI application, the service shows Available, click Activate.

    Note:

    In the 26A release, DFCS supports only Oracle Financial Basel Regulatory Capital recipes.
    By activating, it provisions the service in your DFCS environment and makes it available for use in recipes and integrations.

    Note:

    Before activation, you may see a message such as: “You cannot rollback. Are you sure?”
  5. Once activated, the service becomes available for use in DFCS workflows.
  6. From the Recipes filter, select Calculator.
  7. Click Oracle Financial Basel Regulatory Capital recipe card.

    The card shows:

    • Activation status
    • Recipe type (Calculator)
    • Description
    • Version information
  8. Click Launch to open and start using the recipe.
