8.2.7.1 Access to Business Intelligence Publisher

Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP) is an added functionality delivered via analytics, which is provided as part of your DFCS instance. You can create Reports, Data Model, Report templates, and Schedule reports.

1. From the Oracle Analytics new UI, click ⋮ (three dots) menu on the top right.
2. Select Open Classic Home. This opens the classic BI interface used for Dashboards, Analysis, and BI Publisher reports.
3. Once Classic Home opens, copy the URL from the browser.

   Example:

   https://fsgbu.gbua.ocs.oc-test.com/zba1bnqywvvykbbk8q95/analytics/saw.dll?bieehome&startPage=1

4. Edit the URL as follows:
   1. Remove

      saw.dll.

   2. Replace

      analytics

      with

      xmlpserver

5. The URL should look like this:

   https://fsgbu.gbua.ocs.oc-test.com/zba1bnqywvvykbbk8q95/xmlpserver

6. Paste the modified URL in the browser and press Enter. This will open the BI Publisher (XMLP Server) Home Page.
