7.2.2.2.3 Mapped Attributes

In the Map Attributes section, you map the columns from your uploaded Excel file to the target entity’s attributes (fields). This ensures that the data from the Excel file is correctly imported into the system. The Attribute Name (Logical) represents the attributes of the selected entity, while the Mapped Attributes correspond to the column headers from the uploaded Excel file.
  1. Click the grid icon on the left to begin mapping attributes.
A list of entity attributes and corresponding Excel columns will appear.

Select only the attributes where you want to add or change data.

  2. Click the required mapping in the Override Mapping Column and select the required attribute name if you want to change the default mapping.

    Note:

Enable Auto Map Attributes to automatically match the columns in the Excel file with the corresponding attributes in the selected Entity Table, making data import faster and easier.

Mandatory attributes are preselected and cannot be deselected or modified.

  3. Click Continue to proceed to the User Security tab. For more information, see User Security – Map Users / Groups.
