7.6 Reporting Object Refresh

The Reporting Object Refresh process updates reporting objects based on the latest Catalog Extension changes. This includes both:

• Dimension (DIM) extensions
• Fact (FCT) extensions

Once the views are refreshed, you can:

• Create datasets in the DV UI
• View and validate the corresponding data

In addition to catalog extension changes, this refresh also incorporates:

• Catalog Connector Extensions
• Ingest Connectors

1. Log in to the DFCS Home Page.
2. Click the User Menu.
3. Select Administration.
4. Click Reporting Object Publish.
5. Review the history of previous reporting object publish activities (if needed).
6. Click Refresh Catalog Extensions.

   This action refreshes the reporting objects to reflect the latest catalog extension, connector extension, and ingest connector changes.
