9.5 Unarchiving or Reopening Cases

You can also unarchive the closed cases (that is archived) and bring back to the Case Search List.

To unarchive and reopen a closed case, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Enterprise Case Investigation page.
  2. Select Archived Cases. The Archived Cases page displays.
  3. Select the Case and click Take Action.
  4. Select the Reopen check-box and click Save.
  5. You must run the Archival utility in your database to unarchive the particular case to be available in the Case Search and List page.

    Note:

    Status and non-Status changing actions are based on predefined PMF configurations and data tables. Although these actions can be performed in Archived Cases, they are not recommended, except for the case reopening type of actions.
