5.6.1.9.2 Using Network Graph Components
A typical network graph shows nodes and links. Nodes are entities such as a customer or account and each node can join to none, one or many other nodes via a link.
Each type of node is associated with a specific icon on the graph.
The following table describes the icon displayed on the graph for each type of node.
Table 5-18 Node Icons for Network Analysis Tab
Icon | Type of Node |
---|---|

Each type of link is associated with a specific line format and line color on the graph. The following table describes the line format and color displayed for each type of link.
Table 5-19 Line Color for Network Analysis Tab
Line Color | Type of Link |
---|---|
Green | Monetary Instrument Transaction |
Red | Wire Transaction |
Blue | Journal Transaction |
Purple | Insurance Transaction |
Black | Complex Activity |
Grey | Known Relationships |
When two nodes are connected by more than one link, the graph displays the link as a complex activity. The arrowhead on a link represents the directionality of that link.
