2.2 Enterprise Case Management UI

The ECM user interface has been redesigned to align with our SaaS products. This update improves usability and provides a more efficient experience for investigators and analysts.

Following are the changes:
  • Navigation Updates - The main navigation structure has changed from multiple horizontal tabs (entities, transactions, events, etc.) to a single, compact vertical navigation panel. This approach improves screen space utilization and simplifies access to each section.
  • Actions Reorganization - Actions in the user interface are now categorized as follows: Primary Actions: Frequently used actions are shown directly on the screen for quick access. Secondary Actions: Less frequently used actions are consolidated within an actions drop-down menu to reduce clutter.
  • Visual Enhancements - The new interface introduces updated color schemes, revised icons, and subtle animations. These changes support clarity and ease of use, especially when interacting with visually rich graphs and charts from the Investigation Toolkit.

These interface changes are intended to help users quickly locate information, perform actions efficiently, and benefit from a clear presentation of visual analytics.
