7.8.2 Configure Work Manager in WebLogic Application Server

To create the Work Manager in WebLogic application server, follow these steps:
  1. Open the WebLogic admin console in the browser window: http://<ipaddress>:<administrative console port>/console. (https if SSL is enabled). The Welcome window is displayed.

    This illustration shows the login page for the WebLogic. You can select the required Language, enter valid User ID and Password, and then click Login.

  2. Log in with the user ID that has admin rights.
  3. From the Domain Structure menu in the LHS, expand Environment and select Work Managers to display the Summary of Work Managers window.

    From the Domain Structure menu in the LHS, expand Environment and select Work Managers to display the Summary of Work Managers window. Click New to create a new Work Manager component.

  4. Click New to create a new Work Manager component.

  5. Select the Work Manager and click Next.

    Enter the Name as 'wm/WorkManager' and click Next.

  6. Enter the Name as 'wm/WorkManager' and click Next.

    After adding the name for your new work manager select the required deployment target and click Finish.

  7. Select the required deployment target and click Finish.
