6.1.1.1.4 Delete Currency

You can delete Currencies that you no longer require. Only Currency owners and users with Read/Write privileges can delete a Currency. A Currency that has a dependency cannot be deleted, and a Currency cannot be retrieved after deletion.

To delete one or more Currencies, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to Reference Data and select Currency.
2. In the Currency Summary table, select the check box next to one or more Currencies you want to delete.
   This enables the Delete button on the toolbar.
3. Click Delete. Alternatively, click the Action icon for a single Currency and select Delete from the menu.
4. A confirmation message is displayed. Click OK to confirm the deletion.

   Note:

   Before deleting a Currency, use the Dependency Information option to confirm the Currency has no dependencies, since a Currency with a dependency cannot be deleted.
