1.5 New Features in this Release

Oracle Insurance Accounting Analyzer Extension Pack bundles the following new features in version 8.1.2.3.0. For detailed information about the usage of the listed features, see the respective product User Guides on OHC Documentation Library.

• A new section called Premium is added to the EP PAA template under Movement Analysis.
• The Acquisition Cost section under Movement Analysis of the EP PAA template is enhanced
• New sections (comprising new/existing output variables) can be added to the extension pack templates by navigating to the new Calculation Preference Configuration screen
• The formula in Non-Transition Expression of an output variable can be copied to Acquired Expression, Fair Value Approach Expression, Full Retrospective Expression, Modified Retrospective Expression and Acquired Full Retrospective Expression by clicking Apply all either at individual output variable level within the expression builder or at template level for all the output variables within a template
• A new report called Detailed Liability for Remaining Coverage has been added for PAA. Please refer to the Reports on MOS document to find the snapshot of each of these views.
• A new report called Roll Forward of Insurance has been added for PAA. Please refer to the Reports on MOS document to find the snapshot of each of these views.
• The application screens have been enhanced to enable the selection of EP variables.
• New Subledger rules have been added to support calculations in the EP templates.
