14.2.2.7 Calculation of Contractually Required Collateral
Contractually required collateral is the amount of collateral that is contractually due from one party to the other based on the current exposure and collateral position. This amount must be paid to the party at the earliest and results in an outflow for the party owing the collateral and inflow to the party to whom the collateral is due It can be of two types based on the direction of the exposure, Excess Collateral Due or Excess Collateral Receivable.
