24 Currency Conversion

Previously, the Exchange Rate Source could be set by updating the V_COMPONENT_VALUE Column for the DEFAULT_FX_RATE_SRC Component Code.

Now, within the OFS LLFP application, for a specific source and destination currencies, Exchange Rates can be referred to from a default Exchange Rate Source or a Rate Source specific to a particular Legal Entity.

For the Rate Source specific to a particular Legal Entity, in the stg_entity_org_exchg_map Table, for each FIC_MIS_DATE, you must map the V_LV_CODE Column with the V_RATE_DATA_SOURCE_CD Column. For the OFS LLFP application, the value in the V_ORG_UNIT_CODE Column must be OTH.
