6 Workspaces

Use this page to create and manage workspaces. By default, a sample workspace is created so that that you can provision and use it to understand the workspace workflow.

Workspaces can be in the production environment (deployed), or they can exist in a separate instance on their own (on a local system for testing) with a copy of the data that comes from the desired data source (production or external data source).

You can view the following details on the Workspace Summary page:

Workspace Summary Page

  • Add Workspace icon: Click this link to create a workspace.
  • Sandbox tab: This tab is open by default and also displays the number of sandbox workspaces.
  • Production tab: Click this tab to work in the production workspace. This tab also displays the number of production workspaces.
  • Search field: This enables you to search for a specified workspace.
  • Refresh icon: Click this icon to refresh the summary page with the latest data.
  • Grid View or Card View: Click this icon to toggle between the grid view or the card view.
  • Delete icon: Select a workspace to enable this icon and delete it.
  • Workspace tiles: Click any of the available workspace tiles to view it's details on the dashboard.

    The following list provides information on the workspace tile:
    • If a worspace is in production, it will contain the PROD status.
    • Workspaces with the Failed status cannot be selected.
    • Launch icon: Click this icon within a non Failed status workspace to view it's details on the dashboard.
    • Action icon: Click this icon to open the Action menu. The available options are:
  • Page Navigation: If there are workspaces that span across pages, click the respective page links or the Next icon or the Last icon to navigate to a specific page.
  • File Manager: The File Manager is an ftpshare home path. It enables users to upload a new file, create a new folder, search for a file, preview the file, delete, mark a folder as a favourite and download them.

    Note:

    For File Manager to be visible on the Workspace Summary page, the File Admin User must contain the following roles mapped to it
    • File Read
    • File Delete
    • File Write

The workspace Dashboard allows you to view the models of the launched workspace. To access the Dashboard window, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Workspace Summary page.

    The page displays workspace records in a tile format.

  2. Click the Launch icon that is within the desired workspace tile view the Dashboard page.

    The Dashboard page displays the following features of a launched workspace:

    • Edit Workspace: Click this icon to edit a workspace.
    • Recently Used: This tile displays the most recently used models. When any model from this list is clicked, it navigates the user to the Model Pipelines page.
    • Most Used Tags: This displays the tags that have been used the most in the models. Hover over each tag to view the number of models it has been used in.
    • Models Status: This tile displays the status of the models in a bar graph format. The statuses are; In Review, For Approval, and Deployed. .
    • Job Status: This displays the list of ongoing and recently completed jobs. It also displays the status of the recently completed jobs.
    • Models Time line: This displays the timeline of the models. Hover over the timeline tile to view the Zoom In or Zoom Out icons and use them. You can also click the Orientation icon to change the orientation of the time line display.
