2.3 OFS Price Creation and Discovery Application Pack

OFS Price Creation and Discovery Application Pack (OFS PCD Pack) provides integrated stress testing and modeling capabilities that you can readily apply across multiple risk areas enabling institutions to devise appropriate enterprise-wide and holistic risk and economic capital strategies.

OFS PCD Pack enables you to comply with regulatory requirements on stress testing, enables advanced customer and portfolio analytics, utilize multiple industry-standard techniques, test, and model with complete data integrity. OFS PCD Pack includes the following applications:

  • Financial Services Analytical Applications Infrastructure: This application powers the Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications family of products to perform the processing, categorizing, selection, and manipulation of data and information required to analyze, understand and report on specific performance, risk, compliance, and customer insight issues by providing a strong foundation for the entire family of Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications across the domains of Risk, Performance, Compliance and Customer Insight.
  • Oracle Financial Services Price Creation and Discovery: The Price Creation and Discovery application is intended to be used as a tool to aid a banker price an asset product or a liability product or a bundle across all enterprise product, for a customer while taking into account the customer and product attributes, depth of the customer, that is his or her relationship with the bank and the overall profitability at an account or customer level.

    The product satisfies the pricing needs of both retail as well as institutional customers through two-three methodologies – Carded, Negotiated and User Input pricing. It enables the banker to take into account the TP rate and the capital charge components associated with the deal along with a projection of expenses, other revenue and all existing relationships (made available through the OFSAA FTP, Basel, and IPA/RPA products) to generate the rate. The rate thus generated is saved and available for further analysis and tweaking through What-if analysis.
