4.1.2.3 PLSQL Starter Kit UI

The PLSQL Starter Kit UI will allow users to generate a Starter Kit. UI has options to Include Custom tables & Include data for all Custom tables. The UI will display the current Status and previously generated Starter Kit Status. The UI has a Download button using which Users can download the generated Starter Kit.

To access PLSQL Starter Kit UI, create the user groups UG_GEN_STARTER_KIT_ADMIN and UG_GEN_STARTER_KIT_ANALYST in the IAM console. For more details on creating user groups, refer to Creating a New User Group.

After you create the user groups, map them to the user. For more details on mapping user groups, refer to Admin Console.

From the LHS menu, select Admin Tools, and then select PLSQL Starter Kit.

The PLSQL Starter Kit UI displays the following details:

  • Last Generated on: Stores the Starter Kit Generation.
  • Last Version: Stores the Version.
  • Status: Stores the Status of Starter Kit Generation.
  • File Name: Stores the Starter Kit File Name.
  • File Size: Stores the Starter Kit File Size.
  • Include Custom tables: Check box indicates whether to include Custom Tables added as part of the Data Model Extensions User Interface. When Checked Starter Kit Generation will include Custom Tables added as part of the DME UI.
  • Include data for all Custom tables: Check box indicates whether to include data of the Custom Tables. When Checked Starter Kit Generation will include Custom Tables data.
  • Include Key-dimension members/attributes/hierarchies: Check box defaults to select key-dimensions if there are any included for Starter Kit Generation.
  • Previous Execution Status shows the details of a previously generated Starter Kit version, date, and status.
  • Generate Starter Kit button can be used to Generate a Starter Kit.
  • Refresh button can be used to refresh the page to view the latest Status.
  • Download button can be used to download the latest generated Starter Kit.
