7.1.1.3 Allocation UNDO Via Batch Component
The Allocation Undo feature has three separate components: Allocation Rules Undo, Allocation Model Undo and Allocation Batch Undo.
Each of these components take As of Date as the input batch parameter, and the Undo process happens for this passed-on As of Date value.
“Allocation Rule Undo” component
To perform an Allocation Rule Undo, specify the following parameters in the batch component:
- Allocation Rule Name: Select from the list of all previously executed Allocation Rules whose results you want to undo.
- Execution: Select one of the following options from the dropdown to define the scope of the UNDO action:
- All (Default): Executes Undo for all executions of the selected Allocation Rule for the passed-on As of Date.
- Latest: Executes Undo for the most recent execution of the selected Allocation Rule for the passed-on As of Date.
“Allocation Model Undo” component
To perform an Allocation Model Undo, specify the following parameters in the batch component:
- Allocation Model Name: Select from the list of all previously executed Allocation Models whose results you want to undo.
- Execution: Select one of the following options from the dropdown to define the scope of the undo action:
- All (Default): Executes Undo for all executions of the selected Allocation Model for the passed-on As of Date, that is, all allocation rule executions part of the Allocation Model execution for the As of Date gets Undone.
- Latest: Executes Undo for the most recent execution of the selected Allocation Rule for the passed-on As of Date, that is, all allocation rule executions part of the most-recent Allocation Model execution for the As of Date gets Undone.
“Allocation Batch Undo” component
To perform an Allocation Batch Undo, specify the following parameters in the batch component:
- Allocation Model Name: This dropdown displays only the allocation batches created in the environment. An Allocation Batch is a batch that contains at least one allocation rule or an allocation model as a batch task. Select from this list of all previously executed Allocation Batches whose results you want to undo.
- Execution: Select one of the following options from the dropdown to define the scope of the undo action:
- All (Default): Executes Undo for all executions of the selected Allocation Batch for the passed-on As of Date.
- Latest: Executes Undo for the most recent execution of the selected Allocation Batch for the passed-on As of Date.
