2 Pre-Installation

Ensure that the following prerequisites are present before you install this Maintenance Release:

  1. Download the OFS_CRR 8.1.2.10.0 archive file from MOS by searching the patch number 37766307 under the Patches & Updates tab.

    Note:

    Java11 cannot be installed on Solaris.
  2. Downgrade the commons-logging jar file from version 1.3.1 to 1.1.3 to fix the following issues

    Bug 37590204 - FCCM: Web Server Deployed Side Logs Folder is Almost Blank No Log Files Getting Printed Like UMMSERVICELOG

  3. Before applying AAI 8.1.2.5.0 patch, copy the commons-logging-1.1.3.jar from 
    $FIC_HOME/ficweb/webroot/WEB-INF/lib
    to local folder
  4. Download and apply the OFS_AAI_8.1.2.5.0 file from MOS by searching the patch number 36420089 under the Patches & Updates tab. For more information, see OFS AAI Installation Guide.
  5. Download and apply the OFS ECM 8.1.2.10.0 ML archive file from MOS by searching the patch number 37648089 under the Patches & Updates tab. For more information, see OFS ECM Installation Guide .

    Note:

    This step is applicable only if you are using OFS ECM.
  6. Provide the following grants to Atomic user by login using SYSDBA user.
    • GRANT execute ON DBMS_LOCK to <<ATOMIC USER>>
    • Grant execute on dbms_scheduler to <<ATOMIC USER>>
    • Grant create job to <<ATOMIC USER>>
  7. Follow the additional set of prerequisites
    • If the environment is having BD 8.1.2.8.x and CRR 8.1.2.8.x version installed, for the upgrade from any CRR 8.1.2.8.x version to CRR 8.1.2.10.0 ,the patch CRR 8.1.2.8.1 (37073503), CRR patch 8.1.2.8.2 (37079344) and BD patch 8.1.2.8.1 (37168150) are mandatory to be installed, in the same order of mention, before upgrading to CRR 8.1.2.10.0.
    • If the environment is having BD 8.1.2.x. and CRR 8.1.2.x version installed, for the upgrade from any CRR 8.1.2.x version (except CRR 8.1.2.8.x) to CRR 8.1.2.10.0, the patch CRR 8.1.2.0.2 (37529329) and patch CRR 8.1.2.0.3 (37529337) are mandatory to be installed, in the same order of mention, before applying CRR 8.1.2.10.0.
    • If the environment is having CRR 8.1.2.8.x version installed without BD application present , for the upgrade from any CRR 8.1.2.8.x version to CRR 8.1.2.10.0, the patch CRR 8.1.2.8.1 (37073503) and CRR patch 8.1.2.8.2 (37079344) are mandatory to be installed, in the same order of mention, before applying CRR 8.1.2.10.0.
    • If the environment is having CRR 8.1.2.x version installed without BD application present , for the upgrade from any CRR 8.1.2.x version (except CRR 8.1.2.8.x) to CRR 8.1.2.10.0 the patch CRR 8.1.2.0.4 (37635174), patch CRR 8.1.2.0.5 (37637396), CRR 8.1.2.0.2 (37529329) and patchCRR 8.1.2.0.3 (37529337) are mandatory to be installed, in the same order of mention, before applying CRR 8.1.2.10.0
