7.9 Rejecting Reports

A Supervisor can reject a report that is in the E-File Generated status. Once rejected, the report's status changes to Rejected from E-File. A privileged user (Analyst or Supervisor) then reviews the rejected report and makes any necessary corrections. If an Analyst updates the report, it is sent for approval.

To reject a report, an analyst or supervisor must follow these steps:
  1. On the Reports List page, select the report in E-File Generated status, and click Reject. The Reject window is displayed.
  2. Select one or more reports from the list. Enter the due date and provide comments for the selected reports. Or, to apply the same comment to all selected reports, check the box labeled Apply a single comment to all included reports and enter the comments in the Comments box.

    Note:

In the comments box in the Request for Approval window, you can enter a maximum of 255 characters.
  3. Click Save to confirm the action. The Report List will be refreshed.
