7.2.1 Approving Reports

To approve a report, follow these steps:

  1. On the Regulatory Report Details page, click Approve. The Approve action window displays.

    NOTE

    If there is mandatory information that is missing or information that is in some way invalid for the report submission, you will receive warnings to correct the information before requesting approval. If there are no errors detected, the Approve Action window displays.

    If the report size is more than 60 MB, the following message is displayed: The report contents exceeded the efile size limit. Please reduce report contents before proceeding further.

  2. Enter the comments in the Action window.

    NOTE

    The comments box in the Action pop-up window allows entering a a maximum of 120 characters. As you begin entering the comments, the word count displayed below the comments box keeps decreasing. If you try to enter more than 120 characters in the Comments box, the following message displays: Number of characters exceeded.

  3. Click Save The following message displays: Update Operation Successful.

    NOTE

    If you click Save without entering the comments in the Approve Action pop-up window, the following message displays: Mandatory fields are not entered. If the report is approved, the status of the report changes to Approved.

  4. Click OK. The report audit details display. The Regulatory Report Action grid in the Audit tab displays the comments added in the Approve Action pop-up window.
  5. Click Clear to clear the data in the Action pop-up window and click Close to close the Action pop-up window.
