6.7 Documents
When filing the report with regulatory authorities, you can also send additional documents. This additional information aids in making the correct decision about the report. When you attach a document to a report, the status of that report does not change. However, the attachment is added to the report’s history.
Analyst, Supervisor, and Super User can attach, modify, or delete documents in all statuses except when the report is in View-Only mode.
The Documents tab lists all the documents that are attached to the report. It also allows you to add additional documents. You can upload files of any format with a size of less than 1 MB.
You can upload files of any format in the Documents tab. You can choose to include the attached document in the report.
However, only one file of .csv format can be included in the report. You cannot include files of any other format other than .csv in the report.
To add the documents, follow these steps:
- On the Documents tab, click Add. The Attach Document window displays.
- Click the Attachment Icon to add one or more documents. Select the document that must be attached from the local system.
- Click Add. The following message displays: Add Operation Successful.
- Click Close to view the newly added document in the List of Documents section.
- To view documents, click View Document. A File Download box displays.
- Click Open in the File Download Box to view the document attached. Click Save to save a copy of the attached document in your local system or click Cancel to close the File Download Box.
To delete the attached documents, follow these steps:
- Select the document you want to delete.
- Click Delete. The following message displays: Are you sure you want to delete this record?
- Click OK. The following message displays: Delete Operation Successful.
- If you click Cancel, the document is not deleted.
- Click OK. The List of Documents grid displays.
