6.3.1.10 Nominal Type Variable

To define a Nominal type of variable:

1. Select Nominal in the Variable Sub Type drop-down menu.
2. Select a hierarchy from the Select list of values drop-down menu.
3. Select a logical reference from the Logical Reference drop-down menu.
4. To add dimensions, select Yes. Else select No.
   If you select Yes:

   1. Select a dimension from the Select Dimensions drop-down menu.

   If you select No, then move to step 10.
