Defining Contract Types
Every contract must reference a contract type. The contract type defines what you sell, how much you sell it for, to whom you sell it, how overdue debt is collected, and how sales will be booked in your general ledger.
Note:
Perfect foresight. In a perfect world, the other control
tables would have been set up with perfect foresight of setting up
your contract types. In reality, setting up your contract types may
invalidate some of your earlier decisions. Don't feel bad if this
happens, some amount of iteration is natural.
