Basic Troubleshooting
The following table contains descriptions and solutions for common problems encountered when installing or operating the Workstation 820.

The workstation does not start and does not show the splash screen. |
No power to the workstation. |

For all configurations: Verify your country-specific C5 power cord is fully inserted into the Workstation 8 Series power supply. |
The workstation does not start. The operator LCD remains blank after 30 seconds. |
The system board may be defective. |
Contact your Oracle MICROS representative. |
The workstation does not connect to the Local Area Network. |
The network cable is not connected. The workstation is connected to an inactive or improperly configured LAN port. |
