4 Activate and Run the Recipe

After you've configured the connections and the lookup table, you can activate and run the recipe.

  1. In the Configuration Editor, click Activate in the title bar. In the Activate Package dialog, click Activate again.

    A message confirms that the integration has been activated. Refresh the page to view the updated status of the integration.

  2. Run the recipe.

    1. In the Configuration Editor, click Activation to view the integrations in the recipe. Hover over the Oracle HCM Get Employee integration flow, then click Actions media/image5.png and select Run.

    2. On the Configure and run page, click Run.

      You've now successfully submitted the integration for execution.

  3. Monitor the running of the integration flow in Oracle Integration.

    1. In the Configuration Editor, click Activation to view the integrations in the recipe. Hover over the integration to monitor, then click Actions media/image5.png and select Run, and then Track Instances.

    2. On the Track Instances page, observe the integration flow of the recipe being triggered and running successfully.

      1. For each new hire the integration Oracle HCM Get Employee calls the Oracle MICROS Labor Management Create Employee integration to add an Employee.

      2. Once the execution of Oracle MICROS Labor Management Create Employee is completed, you can check the Person Number & Person Name in the tracking page for integration Oracle MICROS Labor Management Create Employee.

      3. Make a note of the Person Number and Person Name.

  4. Sign into Oracle MICROS Reporting and Analytics and verify if the employee has been created in Labor Management.

    To view the employees created:
    1. In Reporting and Analytics, click Labor Management, click Human Resources, and then click Employee.

    2. In the search page, select Payroll ID as the search criteria and enter the previously noted Person Number. This shows the employee record in the search result which confirms the employee creation.
