4 Activate and Run the Recipe

After you’ve configured the connections and lookup tables, you can activate and run the recipe.

  1. In the Configuration Editor, click Activate in the title bar. In the Activate Package dialog, click Activate again. A message confirms that the integrations have been submitted for activation. Refresh the page to view the updated status of the integrations.

  2. Run the recipe.

    1. In the Configuration Editor, select Oracle HCM Get Employee integration flow, and then click Run.

    2. On the pop-up dialog, click Submit Now.

    3. A Confirmation window opens, which contains the Instance ID. Click the Instance ID.

    4. On the Track Instances page, you can see the integration flows of the recipe being triggered and executing successfully.

      1. For each new hire, the integration Oracle HCM Get Employee will call the Oracle MICROS Labor Management Create Employee integration to add a new employee.

      2. Once the execution of Oracle MICROS Labor Management Create Employee is completed successfully, you can check the Person Number & Person Name in the tracking page for Integration Oracle MICROS Labor Management Create Employee.

      3. Note the Person Number and Person Name.

  3. At any stage while running the recipe, you can monitor the execution of the integration flows in Oracle Integration.

    1. On the Configuration Editor page of the recipe, select any integration flow.

    2. Click Run, and then click Track Instances.

    3. On the Track Instances page, you can see the integration flows of the recipe being triggered and executing successfully.

  4. Sign into Oracle MICROS Reporting and Analytics, and verify that the employee was created in LM.

    1. To view the employees created:

      1. In Reporting and Analytics, click Labor Management, click Human Resources, and then click Employee.

      2. In the search page select Payroll ID as the search criteria and enter the previously noted Person Number. The employee record will appear in the search result, which confirms the employee creation.
