4 Activate and Run the Recipe

After you've configured the connections and the lookup table, you can activate and run the recipe.

  1. In the Configuration Editor, click Activate in the title bar. In the Activate Package dialog, click Activate again.

    A message confirms that the integration has been activated. Refresh the page to view the updated status of the integration.

  2. Run the recipe.

    1. In the Configuration Editor, click Activation to view the integrations in the recipe. Hover over the Oracle MICROS LM to Oracle HCM Timecard sync integration flow, and then click Actions media/image5.png and select Run.

    2. On the Configure and run page, click Run.

      You've successfully submitted the integration for execution.

  3. Monitor the running of the integration flow in Oracle Integration.

    1. In the Configuration Editor, click Activation to view the integrations in the recipe. Hover over the integration to monitor, and then click Actions media/image5.png and select Run, and then Track Instances.

    2. On the Track Instances page, observe the integration flow of the recipe being triggered and running successfully.

      1. The Integration Oracle MICROS LM to Oracle HCM Timecard sync will call the Oracle MICROS HCM Timecard Import for each row in the export file. OIC invokes HCM's REST API to import Timecards into HCM Time and Labor.

      2. Once the execution of Oracle MICROS HCM Timecard Import completes, observe the payload received by the integration in Activity Stream and make a note of the value in reporterId for some records.

      Note:

      The Reporting and Analytics Standard Payroll export file is a zip file which file contains the timecard file for processing. To view a timecard export sample, see Appendix.
  4. Sign in to HCM Time and Labor as the employee who have noted down in previous step (reporterId). Verify if the timecards are created.

    1. To view the Timecard created for the employee, in the Me section, go to Existing Time Cards and verify if the timecards have been created successfully.
