Examples of Most Common Payment Transactions
Example Values
-
The descriptions and examples in the following sections show how the most common operational procedures impact the timing of payment processing and how they are reflected in reports, exports, and BI API responses.
-
The example values used, especially the rates and fees, do not reflect actual numbers or rates and have been chosen to make the examples as simple as possible to follow.
-
The examples only show the fields relevant for the illustration of each example. The core exports and BI API include more fields. Refer to the Standard Export User Guide or the BI API User Guide for more details.
-
Example values that are noted as "<null>" do not actually return a value. "<null>" is used to illustrate an empty field.
-
Examples of the Payment Payout Summary use a hypothetical batch payout amount of 1000.00. This illustrates that the Batch Payout Amount includes multiple transactions of potentially multiple days, locations, or revenue centers. The single transaction payout of each individual example is included in the 1000.00 batch payout amount.
-
Times provided in the examples are in US EST. Processing times reflect the US market.
-
If no Payment Transaction Details, Settlement Details, Payout Details, or Payout Summary results are listed within the examples, then no data about the example payment is included in those result sets on the day they are collected.
