Manually Deploying CAL Packages

You can manually deploy CAL packages immediately rather than scheduling the deployment to run automatically.

  1. Select the Enterprise level, click Setup, and then click CAL Packages.
  2. Click the Deployment Schedules tab.
  3. Click Add Deployment, select the following options, and then click OK:
    • CAL Package For Deployment

    • Deployment Type

  4. Select the Property or Service Host (depending on the Deployment Type).
  5. In the Action to Take field, select 0 - Install.
  6. (Optional) In the Effective From and Effective To fields, select the dates when the package becomes active and inactive.
  7. Click Save. The CAL package downloads to the appropriate POS client workstations.
