Deleting a Property

Administrators can remove a property from the Enterprise when it has stopped operating. All property level data is removed, including revenue centers in the property.

Before deleting a property, close all modules in the EMC that are related to the property, and close all open checks and transactions.

  1. Select the Enterprise level, click Setup, and then click Properties.
  2. Highlight the property to delete, and then click the Delete icon (This image shows the Delete icon.) on the toolbar.
  3. On the Properties: Delete dialog, click Yes to confirm.

    A progress bar shows the status. Depending on the amount of data being deleted, the deletion process may take several minutes.

    If you click Cancel, the operation will finish deleting the current property, but will not delete any properties remaining in the queue.
