Default Hierarchy and Zones

You can think of zones and the default hierarchy as different structures. However, they actually co-exist and even share the same enterprise node. The following diagram show the complete hierarchy picture when zones are used.

NOTE: The EMC hierarchy selector shows a "Default System View" folder at the same as the top most zones. This folder is shown in EMC as a convenience to group the location records which are located under the enterprise. There isn't an actual node in the hierarchy structure for that folder.
