Configuring Reauthorization of Released Credit Card Authorizations

You can now reauthorize a previously released credit card authorization on the same check when you press the Reauthorize released CC Authorization function key on the POS Client. Only workstation operators with the Authorize or Perform Reauthorization of released CC Authorization privilege can perform this function. Complete the steps below in order to enable the reauthorization of released credit card authorizations.

1. Select the Enterprise, click Configuration, and then click Roles.
2. Select the desired employee record.
3. Click the Operations tab.
4. In the Miscellaneous tab, navigate to the UWS Credit Card Options section.
5. Enable role 309 – Authorize or Perform Reauthorization of released CC Authorization.
6. Click Save.
7. Navigate back to the EMC main page, select the Enterprise, property, revenue center, or zone, click Configuration, and then click Page Design.
8. Double-click the page on which you want the function key to appear on the workstation, and insert a new function key named Reauthorize released CC Authorization.
9. Click Save.
