Family Groups

A family group is a grouping of related menu items for reporting sales summaries. Each menu item is linked to a family and a major group. Family groups are often subsets of major groups. For example, menu items linked to family groups Salads, Sandwiches, or Soups and Desserts might also be linked to a major group called Entrees.

In Simphony you can configure family groups only at the enterprise level.

A family group record includes the following fields:
