Extension Application Content

Access the EMC, navigate to the Extension Application module, and then follow the steps below to configure the Version and Host Type columns for this extension application’s content.

  1. Insert a new record or double-click an existing record to configure the extension application content.
  2. Scroll over to the Version column. Based on the version of the client which the extensibility application runs on, set the appropriate value.

If your extensibility application runs on a version of the client earlier than 19.2, then set the Maximum field to 19.1.

    Note:

The value 19.1 also encompasses versions between 19.1 and 19.2.

If your extensibility application runs on a version of the client that is 19.2 or later, then set the Minimum field to 19.2.

  3. Scroll over to the Host Type column. The Host Type drop-down list only needs to be set for JavaScript based application content. All other application content should leave this at 0 - None. For JavaScript based application content, set this to the related Host Type for any JavaScript root script. Any JavaScript library should use 0 - None as the Host Type.
  4. Click Save.
