Configuring an HTML5 Custom Page Control

To add the HTML5 custom page control to the Page Designer:

1. Manually add the extension application content:
   1. Select the Enterprise, property, revenue center, or zone, click Setup, and then click Extension Application.
   2. Insert a new extension application record for your HTML5 custom page control.
   3. Double-click the new record to open it.
   4. From the General tab, click the Insert Application Content button.
   5. Enter the following information, and then click OK:

      • ZoneableKey: This text helps to associate files inside the extension application.

      • Description: The description is optional.

   6. Click the Designer: [extension application name] tab.
   7. From the Content Type drop-down list, select 23 - Text.
   8. Click the Import from a file link, select the HTML file, and then click Open.
   9. Click Save.
2. Link the Zoneable Key containing the HTML5 content to the custom HTML page control:
   1. Select the Enterprise, property, or revenue center, click Configuration, and then click Page Design.
   2. Open the page on which to place the page control.
   3. On the Edit tab, select Other..., and then select Custom Html Page Control.
   4. From the Custom Content Loader configuration menu, enter the following:

      • Extension Application Name: This is the extension application that includes and initiates your custom HTML (created in Step 1-b).

      • Resource Key Value: This value is provided by the author of the extension application. Enter the value exactly as specified.

   5. Click Save.
