Accessing the Simphony EMC Using MFA for the First Time

To configure MFA on your Simphony system:

When first attempting to log on to the Simphony EMC, when prompted, enter your user name in the User Name field, and enter your email address in the Email Address field.
Re-enter your email address in the Confirm Email Address field and then click Register.

Your registered email address is written to your EMC employee record. This email address is used to send you the one-time-password (OTP) each time you attempt to log on to the EMC.
Access the email account you registered in step 1 and open the email containing the OTP.
Enter the temporary password in the One-Time Password field and then click Enter.

Newly generated OTP passwords expire and become invalid after five minutes. If the OTP’s five minute threshold is exceeded, you are required to log in again to the EMC to generate another OTP. After entering a valid OTP, the EMC opens.
