Enabling Capture of Non-PCI Card Data

If your Payment Service Provider (PSP) supports the Read Non PCI Card function, gift cards can be captured from the payment device. This is especially helpful if the Simphony workstation does not have a magnetic card reader. To enable this feature:

1. Request to add the Gift Card range to the safe list, if required by the PSP.

2. Add the useSpiPED=‘‘true” attribute to the Argument String for each Operation button where the allowmagcard=‘‘true” attribute is present.
