3 Effectivity Groups
Effectivity groups are used to configure time-bound promotions at your restaurant. Franchisors can use effectivity groups to schedule when menu items, discounts, and service charges become available at your restaurant. By enabling or disabling an effectivity group, you can manage the limited time offers and menu specials your restaurant participates in.

Figure 3-1 Effectivity Timeline

On the timeline view, you can select 1 Month, 3 Months, or 6 Months. The red vertical line indicates the current date and time. The left and right arrows let you navigate through the dates.
You can mouse over an effectivity group to see a card which shows the Name, Start and End Dates, and Automatically Enable Date (if set).

Figure 3-2 Enable and Disable Effectivity Groups

If an effectivity group extends outside of the active view, a “ghost box” appears. This box includes the effectivity group name and ellipsis point (...) button, so you can still enable or disable the group.
