Editing and Reviewing PAR Orders
Click the Edit (pencil) icon on an order to view or modify it.
The order details grid includes the following columns for each item:
- Item Name: The menu item being restocked.
- PAR Level: The minimum desired quantity (as set by the account) to keep in the suite. For example, a PAR Level of 2 for Soda means always keeping at least 2 units/orders in stock.
- Count Per Order: The number of individual units that make up a single order size. For example, if Soda comes in 6 Packs, each order is 6 cans. If the PAR Level is 2 orders, that’s 12 cans in total. This value is set in the PAR Item | Conversion from Count Unit to Serving Size field.
- Current Count: The quantity currently on hand in the suite, entered during the last count. For new orders, this is the initial quantity supplied.
- Suggested Order Quantity: Automatically calculated as
- Formula: (PAR Level - Current Count) / (PAR Item Quantity per order)
- Example:
PAR Level: 5 (want 5 6 Packs of Soda, which is a total of 30 cans)
Current Count: 15 cans
Suggested Restock: (30 - 15) / 6 = 2.5 → typically rounded up, so order 3 6 Packs
