1. Perform extension or customization on copied profiles.
2. Provide the mapping for newly added elements, as well as for neighboring elements (i.e., if the mapping is provided at the parent element, include the logic in the parent element query.

   Alternatively, if the mapping is provided at the child element, include the logic in the new element).

3. Do not change the data type of existing standard elements, or of the ESM schema table field associated with the respective elements.
4. Add extended elements to Batch and Message header.
5. Add new nodes only at the level of the existing hierarchy.
