Deactivating a synonym

An Active synonym list can contain Inactive synonyms.

Select Coding Setup > Synonym Lists.
The Synonym Lists page appears.
Click the Name link for a synonym list.
The [Synonym List Name] page appears.
Select one or more synonyms.
Select Actions > Deactivate.
The Reason for Change dialog box appears.
In the Reason field, enter a description for the change.
Click Accept.
