Depending on the action, text that describes the reason for one of the following:

• Reason for change dialog box—Making changes to the item.
• Recode reason dialog box—Assigning the new code to a coded request.
• Disapprove reason dialog box—Disapproving the code for a coding request.

1000 characters maximum.

This field does not accept special characters. The Central Coding application saves the changes only if you complete this field.
